Utterly chaotic and luridly enjoyable as only a supergroup including Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Damian Marley, Dave Stewart and A.R. Rahman can be, SuperHeavy is a trip. Marley's jovial pop-reggae is the defining sound here, augmented by Bollywood-orchestral flourishes, surging electric guitars and all sorts of vocal histrionics. Jagger is trying really hard (dig his lovelorn faux-agony on "One Day One Night"), but it's Stone, playing the Fergie role here, who asserts her dominance: The NSFW first 10 seconds of "I Can't Take It No More" are laugh-out-loud awesome. She asks a good question.
