Though he promises on the album's intro to "celebrate life," Midwestern horrorcore emcee Tech hasn't softened up. Everready is stylistically restless and emotionally unsettled. On "Riot Maker," he delivers angry rhymes over churning power chords. Meanwhile, the jovial "Night and Day" celebrates hookers and tequila. The album peaks with "Jellysickle." Over a funky banger from hyphy producer Rick Rock, Tech trades verses with the E-40. The album can be exhausting in its eclecticism, but Tech continues to push the envelope and is too compelling a rapper to ignore.
