Terri Clark's third album, How I Feel showcases Clark’s powerhouse vocals, using them to telling effect on songs such as "Everytime I Cry," the sassy "You're Easy on the Eye" and the slow burning "Getting Even With the Blues." The album housed four singles, but it was the second single, the aforementioned "You're Easy on the Eye," which marked Clark's first American No. 1. With many introspective songs touting themes of self-acceptance and self-discovery, How I Feel won Clark a new set of older, adult-contemporary-leaning fans who embraced the feisty Canadian like on of their own.
