About The Almost

Aaron Gillespie, former drummer and clean vocalist for Christian-leaning emo-metal act Underoath, launched The Almost as a side project while still a member of Underoath. Signed to Tooth & Nail, The Almost are similarly made up of Christians. More melodic than Underoath, with none of the death-metal growling that marks the latter's music, The Almost offer somewhat lighter fare than Gillespie's old band. Formed in 2007, the band fits right in alongside touring partners Paramore, The Straight Line, Emery, All Time Low and more. Gillespie left Underoath for good in April 2010.
