Sure, people were rioting in the streets in 1969 and expanding their brains with drugs, but they were also mainlining this ridiculously perfect slice of bubblegum pop. Who cares if the band didn't really exist? With vocalists Ron Dante and Toni Wine creating a pop song so sweet and undeniably catchy, all you can do is sing along in awe and wonder.
