Biography

With a series of releases longer than the arm of a very long-armed man, the Asuza Plane began recording in 1995 under the banner statement that they would cease recording after their 10th official release. That time has yet to come as they continue to focus on their dueling guitar drones and enormous drum sounds. Most of their releases are deemed "unofficial" since they concentrate on releasing split singles and contributing to compilations. Working within a genre that puts a lot of focus on "spaciness," the music of Azusa Plane can be seen as more challenging than the norm. Seemingly disparate elements are placed together creating, at times, a luscious and discordant acoustic mixture alongside abrasive sonic assaults.
