The Backyardigans

A shambling moose, an amiable penguin, a being named Uniqua -- that combo alone would guarantee success. But the Backyardigans have another weapon in their armory. They exploit the single greatest faculty of childhood: the ability to pretend the backyard is anything, anywhere in the world -- until snack time. The group meets up in their adjoining backyards to go adventuring, and the show explores the resulting imaginary landscapes. This invariably leads to the music that really makes the Backyardigans unique. In their songs you'll hear Afro-beat, disco, calypso and bossa nova, to name just a few genres. Viva the backyard.
