Biography
Dedicated to the "impossible return of dance music," the Come Ons play a kind of revived Northern Soul, with simple, bass- and organ-drenched pop songs made for shaking money makers. The band's core includes bassist and singer Deanne Iovan, drummer Patrick Pantano(who splits his time with the Dirtbombs) and guitarist Jim Johnson. The band's self-titled debut appeared on Sympathy for the Record Industry in 2000, and they have released numerous LPs and singles since.
