Biography

Sad, unassuming, but beautiful in its own way, the Delgados' music is cute as can be on first inspection; but get closer and you notice the frown lines and tear tracks. Male and female singers alternate singing responsibilities, and a menagerie of instruments from strings to horns to synths are used to paint delicate watercolor songs from a motley palette.
