Their promotion from indie Ferret to Warner subsidiary Roadrunner is also the first time these chart-scaling Ohio screamo Christians haven't credited a keyboardist. But fear not, synth and piano lovers! Cuts like "Gloom," "First Sight," "8:18" (seemingly about a mom mourning her murdered child) and the slightly regal "Sailor's Prayer" sure sound keyboardy -- often electronically -- under all that obligatory metalcorps bark and whine. "Martyrs" starts with bells tolling for thee, but mostly we get tantrum after tantrum after tantrum -- and in "War," apparently a soldier begging forgiveness.
