Biography

Initially a solo vehicle for Blur frontman Damon Albarn, The Good, The Bad and the Queen is a modern day Brit rock supergroup whose members include the Verve guitarist Simon Tong, the Clash bassist Paul Simonon and pioneering Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen. After playing for a BBC music festival in October 2006, the band released their debut single, "Herculean," which debuted at No. 22 on the British pop charts. The British press immediately embraced the group. In January 2007 The Good, The Bad and the Queen released their debut, a self-titled LP produced by Danger Mouse.
