The Grouch

A prolific emcee/producer down with the Living Legends, the Grouch has been steadily releasing independent hip-hop since the mid-1990s. Serving up charismatic, decidedly non-gangsta lyrics over homemade beats, the Grouch has appeared on dozens, if not hundreds, of projects over the years as a solo artist, with the Legends, and in collaboration with other like-minded acts. After dominating the Bay Area underground scene, he and the rest of the crew relocated to Los Angeles, where they continue to record new material and tour relentlessly.
