Warning Shots collects together the high points from the first ten years of the Swedish death metal mainstays' career. With brothers Anders and Jonas Bjorlern (both formerly part of the hugely influential At the Gates) running the show, the Haunted's blasting combination of groove, thrash and melodic death metal has been a massive seller since the minute their first (self-titled) album appeared in 1998. "D.O.A.," "Hate Song" and the Slayer-riffic "Undead" are high points, but the rehearsal tapes and early demos, as well as three live cuts, will be of serious interest to longtime fans.
