The Hollywood Flames

The Doo-Wop vocal group the Hollywood Flames had a major hit with the very rock and rolling "Buzz, Buzz, Buzz" and while they had other hits, most of their worthy back catalogue is waiting rediscovery -- including a fun-loving track called "Frankenstein's Den." Lead singer Bobby Day went solo and hit the charts -- in a very big way -- with "Rockin' Robin," but the Flames carried on without him.
