The JaneDear Girls
Susie Brown grew up in Utah, where, at the age of four, she mastered the violin before learning other instruments. Texas native Danelle Leverett didn't pick up a guitar until an injury kept her out of high-school gymnastics. Each girl moved to Nashville to pursue a solo career, but when the two sat down to write together for the first time, they felt something click. After they played a MusikMafia event, an impressed John Rich stepped in and helped get The JaneDear Girls signed. The girls released the single "Wildflower" in March 2010, and their self-titled debut followed in January 2011.
