The Jazz Mandolin Project

This talented trio, led by the fiery mandolin burner Jamie Masefield, incorporates jazz, Bluegrass and Jam Rock in their extended improvisations. The Burlington, Vt.-based group has gone through many personnel changes over the past decade, particularly with drummers. The group occasionally features Jon Fishman (Phish) who recorded with Masefield and bassist Chris Dahlgren on the album Tour de Flux.
