The Killers were the premier singles band of the 2000s, with hits like "Mr. Brightside," "When You Were Young" and "Human." That's to say nothing of the blissful new "Shot at the Night," amped up to maximum John Hughes heights by none other than Anthony Gonzalez of M83, and the anthemic, strummier "Just Another Girl." But you may appreciate "The Way It Was," "For Reasons Unknown" and the beauteous "Be Still" just as much. Though the oversights are kind of sad -- where's "Bones," "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine" or the Lou Reed duet "Tranquilize"? -- this is still a killer Killers collection.
