A bad Mekons record with some great songs ("Insignificance," "Never Work"). The title suggests they feel a need to abandon their unique form of soulful rock and country, but the music doesn't offer anything more compelling in its place, sounding instead like a half-hearted attempt to recapture past magic. Sigh.
