The New Deal

Toronto-based live Progressive House trio (keyboardist Jamie Shields, drummer Darren Shearer and bassist Dan Kurt) re-create the club DJ experience live, right in front of your eyes. Their sound is indeed closer to electronica, however their funky roots in the Canadian jazz have led them to greater popularity among the northeastern US Jam Band scene. With an active touring schedule and frequent visits to well-know venues such as the Wetland Preserve in New York, they have gathered a dedicated following of Dealheads.
