Dave Navarro and Jane's Addiction's rhythm section -- drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Chris Chaney -- reconfigure as Panic Channel to deliver an album all their own. Sort of. At different times echoing Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Nirvana and even early Foo Fighters, (ONe) is almost too perfect a re-creation of the grunge years. But Navarro's melodies hit where they should and when he plays a lead, it's easy to forgive the derivativeness. There's even a song about a heroin dealer! It's like 1991 all over again! Like we said, just sing along and don't forget to check the guitars.
