The Perceptionists

A three-man supercrew out of Boston, the Perceptionists include established indie emcees Mr. Lif and Akrobatik, with DJ Fakts One on the cuts. Though all three have been in the game for a while, they first came together in 2000, on a track entitled "Avengers" from Lif's Enters The Colossus LP. After several more collabos and extensive touring together, the trio released their first group album, Black Dialogue in early 2005. Known for their intelligent (and often political) lyricism and futuristic b-boy production, they offer a fresh yet classic approach to hip-hop that has been embraced by underground heads all over the world.
