My Brother's Blood Machine

My Brother's Blood Machine by The Prize Fighter Inferno
Released: Oct 2006
Label: Equal Vision Records
Curiously, this debut from the Prize Fighter Inferno, side-project of Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudio Sanchez, has a few things in common with the Postal Service. Fans of Sanchez's wet, reedy vocals and his fantastical lyrics will find them here, but where his C&C music factory cranks out epic jammers, these tunes are subdued, relying heavily on computer noises and beats, much in the same way that Ben Gibbard's vocals mingled with Jimmy Tambrello's electronics in the aforementioned. There's also a few acoustic strummers rounding out Sanchez' one-man show.
