Biography

If Billy Joel hadn't beat them to the punch, the Psyclone Rangers would have been the band to put Allentown, Penn., on the map musically. Their raucous, fuzz-saturated guitars grind away like cement saws while still maintaining a Power Pop orientation. Strikes a good balance between polish and garage-rock dereliction.
