The Rh Factor

The talented jazz trumpeter Roy Hargrove is the mastermind behind the RH Factor, a loose-knit supergroup that includes stars (D'Angelo, Erykah Badu) from the R&B, hip-hop and jazz worlds. The project is Hargrove's successful attempt to show how modern pop and hip-hop are interconnected with jazz. The RH Factor's first album, Hard Groove hit the upper reaches of both the contemporary instrumental and R&B charts.
