Mid-tempo Rocka-hillbilly that's pickled in the Western Swing Revival vinegar that the kids with all that goop in their hair seem to dig these days. This skilled band of upright bass-slapping good-ol' boys adhere to a tried-and-true recipe, similar to what Big Sandy was doing before he began infusing his own style of songwriting with a pre-existing formula. These vocals seem naturally nasal, with just a little bit of affected twang.
