About The Rocket Summer

Hailing from Colleyville, Texas, Rocket Summer is the pop punk band of Bryce Avary, who writes and sings the songs and mostly plays all instruments on the recordings. Avery started playing gigs as a teenager and released his first EP, The Rocket Summer, in 2000. His debut LP, Calendar Days appeared in 2003, followed by Hello, Good Friend in 2005 and a pair of EPs in 2006 and 2007. He enjoyed a wide internet following and signed to Island for the release of 2007's Do You Feel.
