The Smooths

The Smooths differentiate themselves from the current crop of ska-influenced bands in a very simple but important way: they play Ska. With a sound that draws on the Two-Tone bands of the late 1970s/early '80s, the Smooths' offerings have a smooth groove with nary a punky, power chord to be heard.
