Released: Oct 2007
Label: Sire/Reprise
The Spill Canvas' songwriter Nick Thomas props up his big-throated melodies with heaps of distorted guitar and an elaborate production aesthetic, evoking the thrashing pop of the Foo Fighters ("The Truth") one moment and dance rock UK exports the next ("All Over You"). Even with all the wailing, he still sounds most at home on the ballads, and "Connect The Dots" is the record's gentle highlight.
