After taking on Christians on 2006's The Body..., the Portland rockers move their focus to the afterlife here, and, well, lets just say there's not much talk about heaven or hell. Instead, Now We Can See is a look back at life from the grave, told through snappy, three-chord attacks and pogo-bopping rhythms. So what's on the mind of the deceased? Regrets, lost loves and the futility of it all, of course, but there's also a sense of triumph. After all, everyone has feelings of awesomeness at one point or another ("You should've seen us in our prime/ When we were alive!").
