On the Three Sounds' final studio album, pianist -- and group leader -- Gene Harris plays over orchestral charts by Monk Higgins (who co-wrote the set with producer Dee Ervin). The sweeping strings work on an impressive mix of swank supper-club numbers and funky barroom groovers, but it's still Harris' signature stop/start soul-jazz piano lines that rule the day. The extended title tune is a real keeper, and the other four cuts (including the northern soul club hit "Repeat After Me") are recommended to fans of either jazz or instrumental R&B.
