Things start out peaceful enough on this children's record by the Stooges, but by the second song Moe is slapping people and Larry is begging for mercy. Decidedly for kids, the album still has some comedy on it that fans of the masters of physicality will enjoy. If anything, the original Curly is present and just the sound of Larry Fine's beleaguered rasp is funny. Says Moe at the end of "The Children's Marching Song," "I didn't know I could count to ten." Stupidity never gets old.
