The Untamed Youth

The Untamed Youth came out of Missouri like an exploded can of Pabst -- literally. Their sound is marked by a wild organ and beer-drenched antics, and is heavily inspired in sound and look by the legions of unknown, wild '60s frat bands from comps such as those on Crypt Records' legendary Back From the Grave series. The Untamed Youth turn the wonderful, innocent, earnest ineptness of those bands into a true art form. They capture the spirit of all the cheesy '60s beach movies, transforming their shows and records into a wild beach party -- bonfire, beer cans and all.
