Biography
One of the first to be identified as Emo, The Van Pelt set the stage for what would later explode into a major music movement. Jagged, wall-to-wall guitars, pulsating rhythm and intimate, if not intense, vocals. The band ended in 1997 but are still quite relevant as a historical reference.
