The Vidalias

The Vidalias play Americana with more conviction than the band's past insurgent country works. You'll find them mixing it up with Country-Folk, subtle Western Swing, bits of blues-soaked Boogie Rock, and hints of Rockabilly Revival all swirled up in a Bakersfield Sound that seems comfortably wrapped in a Cosmic American Music quilt. Warm and twangy Telecasters get loose with a little help from the sweet cries of a steel guitar and a tight rhythm section that could keep a beat on a vibrating motel bed.
