Biography

The View started creating a stir in the UK in 2006, on the strength of a live performance aired on BBC Radio 1. The band played their forthcoming single, "Wasted Little DJs," a rousing throwback to the energy and abandon of early punk, immediately catching the attention of both the public and the fledgling Sony BMG offshoot, 1965 Records. Headquartered in a pub in Dryburgh, Scotland, where they live, rehearse and play, the View plays host to most of the big names that pass through the Dundee area of Scotland, a list that in the past has included the Undertones and Primal Scream, among others.
