Rarely has a band been so appropriately named. The Viletones have rightly earned themselves a spot in the Punk history books as one of Canada's most vicious exports. Though not as well-known as countrymen D.O.A. or the Subhumans, the Viletones tore those bands (and any other) apart with their bare-teeth biting Punk. There's not a bit of remorse in their songs, and not even a hint of anything but seriousness as singer Steve Leckie spits lyrics that boil with contempt. Songs such as "Screaming Fist," "Danger Boy" and "Possibilities" have become must-hear classics in tight circles of collectors and pure Punk lovers alike. With intent to kill, the Viletones straight-up Punk will put a sneer, a scowl, and a vicious smile on your face.
