Each member of the Who wrote a few songs for their second album. The experiment yielded a few worthwhile numbers, but it mostly created an album of filler; Quick One sputters in its inconsistency. It does have its moments, especially on songs such as "Boris the Spider" and Townsend's first mini-opus, "A Quick One While He's Away."
