Biography

Combining the sea-soaked twang of Surf Rock with the bouncing beats of Ska and the speed of Punk, the Ziggens emerge with an eclectic, vigorous sound. They are real-life California boys with a sense of humor (they do a fierce cover of Judas Priest's "Breaking the Law"). When they do depart from instrumentals, the vocals are reminiscent of the Beach Boys' harmonies but with a gravelly edge. Think vintage but not stale, retro without the cheese.
