Three 6 Mafia are essentially a Southern party group -- albeit one that loves sex, drugs and gang violence -- and their albums are usually patchworks of hits and misses. But they sound desperate to cash in on the mid-2000s crunk fad on Da Unbreakables, and that leads to lame strip-club tunes like "Shake Dat Jelly" and "Mosh Pit." Despite being one of the South's most creative production teams, Juicy J and DJ Paul rely on flat keyboard arrangements for many of the 20 tracks. Save for a few songs like "Ridin' Spinners," "Rainbow Colors" and "Bin Laden," Da Unbreakables is a letdown.
