Biography

This Boston band got a leg up in the '80s via the relatively new MTV. I mean, really -- who could resist the combination of Aimee Mann's spiky hair and her long, braided ponytail? Not to mention that "Voices Carry" was a good song. But the magic didn't last and the band became a footnote in pop music, as Aimee Mann embarked on a critically acclaimed solo career.
