Timbaland's reputation as an industry innovator aside, one of his greatest talents is his ability to cohesively graft his beats onto almost any artist's style. On his second album of collaborations, he duets with everyone from Drake to Daughtry to Miley Cyrus(!), and each collabo maintains both artists' musical identity. "If We Ever Meet Again," for instance, is at once undeniably a Katy Perry song and a Timba track. This is partly due to the consistency of that hop-scotching beat. Shock Value II isn't exactly shocking. It's familiar but fun pop fare from a master.
