Released: Nov 2012
Reggaeton's everyman continues swaggering -- er, skipping -- jauntily down the crossover-friendly, cross-genre path he's been on for the past couple albums. Invicto veers from poppin' bubbly bangers ("Me Fascinas," which is slicked with dancefloor sweat) to sensitivo ballads (candlelight 'n' keys heartwarmer "Alzo Mi Voz" and "Dime Si No Es Verdad," which starts almost on country turf but ends up a kind of lite-reggaeton slow jam). The usual cadre of VIP guests keeps things interesting -- though juxtaposing Tito's tinnily tuned vocals with Marc Anthony's might not be the best idea.
