What gives? The most controversial new traditionalist sings traditional yuletide carols with nary a hint of his politically incorrect sass? It's great to hear country instrumentation on all the familiar Christmas songs, but still hard to believe that Toby Keith put out two discs and 20 songs without any overt nods to his red state fan base. OK, granted this is his first holiday themed release in 12 years and it's pretty neat that disc one is contemporary carols while disc two comprises spiritual songs but where's "I Saw Osama Kissing Santa Claus" or "Courtesy of the Red, White and Green?"
