Much like My Chemical Romance and American Idiot-era Green Day, Tokio Hotel loves producing rock 'n' roll theater. As this live document demonstrates, the German act's 2009 tour was a lavish affair, a grand fusion of dystopian emo-pop and progressive-bred pretense. The actual title, Humanoid City Live, is a bit misleading, to be honest. It seems to imply Tokio Hotel spotlight tracks from the Humanoid album exclusively. But that's not what they did. This 19-track collection features a breadth of songs, both popular and obscure, from their discography. Be prepared for a real spectacle, kids.
