As is the case with most of Traffic's '70s albums, a broad range of styles marks the music -- prog rock, jazz, funk, soul and folk -- with writing contributions from almost everybody. "Rock and Roll Stew (Part 1)" and the sprawling title cut are on the list of the band's best-known songs, with that titular track encapsulating everything Traffic was singularly talented at, namely pushing the boundaries of what was considered rock music at the time without neglecting to include a killer chorus. "Rainmaker" is one you might recognize if you've ever been to a Ren Faire.
