Even though their confessionals come with uniformly masculine vigor, Trapt's chest-pumping choruses and buzzsaw riffs are a hair's breadth more forceful than others in the active rock frat -- not that you'd really be able to tell them apart when they go sappy with reflections like the smoothly polished "The Last Tear." The tuff-built rockers, like "Cover Up" or "Who's Going Home with You Tonight?," might help get Nickleback out of your head, if only for a moment.
