Released:
Label: Odd Future
The entire thing lasts 22 minutes, and only four tracks out of 14 exceed 120 seconds (shortest: 0:27), but this biracial Sacramento hardcore gang has nearly as much metal in them as their inspiration Bad Brains did early on. The frantic moshpit flailings frequently slow to half-speed, but the exasperated anarchism slogans ("crucify me!," "occupy the streets!," "class war!," "I'm sick of living a lie!," "surrounded by idiots, surrounded by fools!") never give in. A couple songs give space to the drums, though, and "Blossom & Burn" gives space to two rappers from Odd Future, who run the label.
