Slapp Addict is silly and sublime, trafficking in the sort of tingly, minimalist euphoria that has become the hyphy producer's calling card. "Bring it Back" smoothers its hard drums in kazoo-like synths, while "The Sideshow" sounds like Cassie's sighing single "Me & U" curled into a thizz face. Sure, the lyrics revolve around "clothes, ho's, and nonsense," but that's enough. Guests Keak Da Sneak, Turf Talk, Too Short, the Team and Clyde Carson are hip-hop's most stylistically adventurous emcees, and they make this quintessential hyphy.
