The sophomore album from Trey Songz begins with a bang. Bun B provides the album's intro, Timbaland protege Danja delivers a squirming bombast of "Wonder Woman," and DJ Drama pops up for "Long Gone Missin'," which borrows its bouncing soul from countrified trap rap. But later the album will tread gentler waters. The two tracks from Norwegian production duo Stargate -- "Can't Help But Wait" and "Missin' You" -- evoke the wispy, ephemeral soul that is Stargate's bread and butter. Songz continues to evolve as a singer, even if his phrasing still borrows heavily from the school of R. Kelly.
