This b-side release is a compilation of outtakes, studio chatter and unreleased songs from Umphry's McGee's 2006 breakthrough album, Safety In Numbers . Disc one includes tracks like the Steely Dan-esque "Bright Lights, Big City," a previously played but never released Umphreaks' favorite, and an alternate take of "Intentions Clear" featuring Joshua Redman on saxophone. Alternatively, the second disc provides an inside glance at the band's studio habits with 28 dialogue tracks, a cappella versions and voice-overs.
